Manufacturer’s Description

In the mid-1890′s, original issue 1873′s were re-built with 5.5″ barrels. This is the sidearm that Teddy Roosevelt’s Rough Riders carried on their famous charge up Kettle Hill and San Juan Hill. It features U.S. markings on frame and an inspectors cartouche on stock.
