Manufacturer’s Description

Ruger‘s SR1911 Target is a 1911-style semiauto pistol built on a stainless steel frame with a stainless steel slide, and chambered in .45 ACP or 10mm.  Other features include:

  • A classic, Series 70 design;
  • a stainless steel barrel and bushing made from the same bar stock on the same machine;
  • an aluminum skeletonized trigger with an adjustable over-travel stop;
  • Bomar-style adjustable sights dovetailed into the slide;
  • a skeletonized hammer;
  • an oversized beavertail grip safety;
  • an extended, ambidextrous thumb safety;

  • an extended slide stop lever;
  • an integral plunger tube;
  • an oversized ejection port;
  • an extended magazine release;
  • a standard recoil guide system;
  • a flat, checkered mainspring housing;
  • a visual loaded-chamber inspection port;
  • angled rear slide serrations for positive grip;
  • a swaged link pin;
  • a titanium firing pin;
  • a low-glare stainless finish;
  • black controls;
  • black G10 checkered grips;
  • one eight-round stainless steel magazine and one seven-round stainless steel magazine;
  • a bushing wrench; and
  • a cable locking device.
