Summary: The description, specs, pricing, photos, user ratings and user comments for the Taurus 405 revolver.
Manufacturer’s Description
The Taurus 405 is the company’s first .40 SW-caliber revolver. This five-shot snubbie is built on a lightweight frame and is available with a blue or matte-stainless finish. Standard features include a Ribber grip and the key-lock based Taurus Security System. Stellar clips are included.
Bought one about a week ago. Makes your teeth chatter when you’re not expecting the recoil. None of my Federal or Remington ammo (Border Patrol issue) fit in the moon clips (fall right out). Speer Gold Dot won’t hold either. Only Winchester (Ranger & white box) has worked so far. Called Taurus & they are sending me a new set of moon clips. I’m satisfied so far, but hope that the new moon clips hold the other ammo since my stockpile is mostly Remington & Federal.
