Manufacturer’s Description
The Armscor 1911 GI CS is a 1911-style pistol built on a steel frame with a 3.5″ bull barrel and a shortened grip. It’s chambered in .45 ACP. Other features include:
- GI-type sights;
- a parkerized finish;
- a spur hammer;
- a short trigger;
- a flat mainspring housing;
- polymer grips;
- a GI guide rod and plug;
- rear only vertical cocking serrations;
- a traditional barrel/bushing set up; and
- a 70 series firing system (i.e., no firing pin safety).
Note: Armscor exports a version of these pistols to Rock Island Armory in the United States. The Rock Island version carry the Rock Island logo/etc.
