The Colt 1991 Series is a direct descendent of the original Colt 1911A1. This single-action, Series 80-style pistol is built on either a carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum frame with a blued, stainless or black anodized finish, respectively. Features include:
- an aluminum trigger;
- white-dot carry front and rear sights;
- a lowered ejection port;
- a spur hammer; and
- a standard thumb safety.
Available grips include double diamond rosewood grips and checkered rubber composite grips.
