Manufacturer’s Description

Dan Wesson‘s Valkyrie Commander is a 1911-style pistol built on an commander-size aluminum frame with a commander-size steel slide, and chambered in .45 ACP or 9mm. Other features include:

  • A hand-fit 70-series frame and slide;
  • a hand-fit, forged match barrel;
  • tritium night sights, including a tactical ledge rear sight;
  • a beveled magazine well;
  • a carry bevel treatment;

  • an undercut trigger guard;
  • angled rear grip serrations;
  • Slimline G10 grips;
  • 25 LPI checkering on the front and backstrap;
  • a recessed slide-stop hole;

  • a left-side thumb safety;
  • hand polished flats; and
  • two magazines.
