Manufacturer’s Description
The Heizer Defense PKO45 is a semiauto pistol built on a stainless steel frame with a stainless steel slide, and chambered in .45 ACP. Other features include:
- A barrel-under-guide rod configuration;
- a fixed stainless steel barrel;
- a single-action trigger with an 8-lb. pull;
- an internal hammer;
- low-profile, dovetailed, three-dot sights;
- an ambidextrous thumb safety;
- a grip safety between the frontstrap and trigger guard;
- either a stainless or a black finish on the frame;
- a variety of slide finishes, including stainless, black, copperhead, gray and champagne; and
- one flush-fit and one extended magazine.
You can disassemble the PKO45 via a slide pin and without tools or pulling the trigger. Heizer says it will also offer the PKO45 with a titanium frame, and chambered in 9mm and .380 ACP. The pistol is not California-approved.
Heizer plans to begin shipping the PKO45 in January 2017. Here’s a video showing the gun in action.
