The Kimber Micro Special Editions are semiauto, 1911-style pocket pistols built on aluminum frames and chambered in .380 ACP. Kimber offers three versions: The Micro Sapphire, the Micro Bel Air and the Micro Diamond. Common features include:
- A stainless steel ramped barrel;
- a stainless steel slide;
- a lowered and flared ejection port;
- a full-length guide rod;
- a high-cut under the trigger guard;
- a solid aluminum, match-grade trigger;
- a beveled magazine well; and
- Kimber’s Carry Melt treatment.
And of course each Special Edition includes unique features:
Kimber Micro Sapphire
- A grooved mainspring housing;
- tritium three-dot night sights;
- blue/black ball-milled G-10 thin grips;
- fine engraving with delicate scroll accents;
- an ambidextrous thumb safety;
- a high polish bright blue PVD coating on the small parts;
- frontstrap grooves;
- a high polish bright blue PVD finish on the slide; and
- a satin silver finish on the frame.
Kimber Micro Bel Air
- A checkered mainspring housing;
- fixed low-profile sights;
- ivory micarta grips;
- mirror polished small parts;
- a mirror polish on the slide; and
- a Bel Air Blue finish on the frame.
Kimber Micro Diamond
- A grooved mainspring housing;
- tritium three-dot night sights;
- ivory micarta grooved grips;
- fine engraving with delicate scroll accents;
- an ambidextrous thumb safety;
- mirror polished small parts;
- frontstrap grooves;
- a mirror-polished slide; and
- a silver anodized finish on the frame.
