Summary: The description, specs, photo, pricing and user ratings for the Kimber Ultra Carry II pistol.

Manufacturer’s Description

Ultra Carry II pistols weigh just 25 ounces, 13 ounces less than a full-size 1911. Combining light weight with a 3″ barrel and short grip makes them easy to carry and conceal. Machined bevels at both the front and rear of the Ultra Carry ejection port ensure ejecting brass reliably clears, avoiding jams.

All Kimber pistols feature a match grade barrel, chamber and trigger. Ultra Carry bull barrels are fitted directly to the slide, keeping maximum weight forward to reduce recoil and speed sight recovery time between shots. To ensure dependability, Ultra Carry light weight aluminum frames are machined on the same computer-driven machines and to the same tolerances as Kimber steel frames.

Each model has standard Kimber features like rounded and blended edges, beveled magazine well, extended thumb safety and bumped beavertail grip safety. Magazine capacity is 7 rounds in .45 ACP. They fit almost any size hand and point naturally. Best of all, the crisp, clean single action trigger eliminates long travel, heavy pull and the guessing that goes with it.

Kimber’s Ultra Carry II pistol is available in .45 ACP, and you can get it with or without night sights.

I have really liked and ejoyed this 45 small framed gun! The short barrel is still very accurate, provididng you can hold er down, she is a little snappy. This one, for me has had not one hiccup since I pulled it out of the box. I don’t quite know how many rounds have been through it but it’s more than 1000. It’s still going strong. In my opinion the only real draw back to the thing is the difficult take down and the fact that you need a small pin of some kind it order to get the gun apart. I don’t feel that is a good idea at all, ease of take down should be an easy to do task under a difficult situation, esp for a smaller gun that is designed for self defense! I have the night sights and after almost two years they’re still going strong. The function for me has been a great experience and for the money I paid for it was a really nice deal! I can’t speak of thier customer service as I havn’t needed it and hope I don’t. Nice job Kimber, now let’s get an upgrade to get rid of pining the thing for take down!
