Summary: The description, specs, pricing, user ratings and photos for North American Arms’ Companion revolvers.
The North American Arms (NAA) Companions are percussion (cap and ball) .22 caliber five-shot revolvers engineered by legendary gun designer Dick Casull. The Companion uses a #11 Percussion Cap and FFFFH or Pyrodex powder. The Companion is compatible with the grips, holsters and other accessories for the NAA .22 LR Mini-Revolver. The Super Companion is compatible with the grips, holsters and other accessories for the NAA .22 WMR Mini-Revolver. Both models use .22 caliber cap and ball bullets, available from NAA (see below).
As with NAA’s other Mini-Revolvers, the Companion is made in America with surgical-quality stainless steel. Each revolver package includes:
- 50 30-grain lead bullets;
- a powder charge measure (a yellow scoop);
- a bullet seater;
- five bullet nipples (installed in the cylinder);
- An allen wrench for the bullet nipples; and
- a small padlock with NAA logo.
The Companions are also available as an upgraded kit. The upgraded kits contain all the items listed above, plus the following:
- 250 30-grain lead bullets;
- a leather bullet pouch;
- a replica Civil War era flap holster;
- an extra cylinder w/bullet nipples installed.
The Companion is available for sale without going through an FFL Dealer in the United States because it’s a black powder firearm. However, you will need to fill out and send us our Cap and Ball Waiver form (available here) if you reside in the District of Columbia, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington.
