Summary: The description, specs and photos of the Pedersoli Carleton Underhammer Target pistol.
Manufacturer’s Description
Pedersoli’s Carleton Underhammer Target pistol reproduces the pistol made by Michael Carleton of Haverhill, N.H., which prevailed over other models thanks to the hammer having a parallel motion to the barrel axis. The nipple is horizontally screwed to the drum under the frame, and the main hammer spring looks like a trigger guard. The sliding moving parts are carefully designed to reduce their friction, resulting in a moderate, crisp pull, even without a set trigger.
This gun is made with a rust-brown finish on the barrel and a saw handle stock.
