Manufacturer’s Description
Bartholomaus Joseph Kuchenreuter lived between 1782–1864 in Steinweg, near Regensburg, in Germany. He was the son of Joseph II, a well known gunmaker and black powder shooter.
Pedersoli says its Kuchenreuter reproduction target pistol, the original model of which was produced around 1854/1855, is the masterpiece of its production. Features include a single set trigger and vertically adjustable rear sight; a rust-brown finish on the barrel with the writing “BARTH. IOS KUCHENREUTER and the silver inlay Kuchenreuter mark; a grained walnut stock with an oil finish; and color case hardened metal parts.
Two versions are available: standard and deluxe. The deluxe version features gold plating on the engraving’s background.
