Pietta’s Griswold and Gunnison revolver is based on the Colt Model 1851, .36-caliber, six-shot revolver primarily used by the Confederacy.
Renowned at the time for its quality, it sports a 7.5″ dragoon-type blued barrel with six-groove rifling. Features include a blued, 1.75″-long round cylinder, a one-piece walnut grip and a brass frame and grip straps.
