Manufacturer’s Description
The Starr SA was originally designed by Starr as an improved and less expensive alternative to its double-action model 1858. Roughly 32,000 were made between 1863-1865, putting it third behind Colt and Remington in revolvers purchased by the U.S. government during the Civil War.
Features include a round, six-shot cylinder with nipples that partially protrude out the rear, walnut grips, a blued finish with a case-hardened hammer and lever, and a round 8″ barrel.
