Manufacturer’s Description

The Rock Island Armory Tactical 2011 Single Stack pistol is a full-size, 1911-style semiauto pistol built on a single-stack steel frame and chambered in .45 ACP, .40 SW or 10mm. This pistol features a full-length dust cover with a full-length rail.

Other features include:

  • An ambidextrous safety;
  • a combat hammer;
  • an extended beavertail;
  • either standard sights, night sights or a fiber optic front sight on the VZ model (all rear sights are snag-free and all sights are dovetailed);
  • either checkered wood grips, black rubber grips or VZ Tactical  grips;
  • a skeletonized trigger;
  • a Series 70 firing system;
  • a magwell; and
  • a parkerized finish.

The VZ model’s slide features angled slide serrations front and rear. The standard model features only vertical, rear slide serrations.

Note: Rock Island imports these pistols from Armscor in the Phillipines.
