Manufacturer’s Description
The Ruger Mark III Hunter boasts a target-crowned, fluted bull barrel (4.5″ or 6.88″ barrels are available) and a light-gathering fiber optic sight making it perfect for small game hunting. The sighting system features a light-gathering HiViz fiber optic front sight (with six interchangeable LitePipes) , precision-adjustable rear sights and a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver-style scope base adapters (included free) for easy mounting of optics.
The smoothly contoured, comfortable grip offers a natural pointing grip angle with checkered grip panels providing a non-slip hold (available with Crimson Trace LaserGrips). The manual safety and magazine release are conveniently located on the left side of the frame.
The manual safety positively locks the sear when applied. The Mark III Hunter also features an unobtrusive internal lock that locks the safety in the safe position and allows you to safely secure the firearm when not in use. The magazine disconnect prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed.
Finally, the internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs.
The Hunter comes with two magazines and a hard plastic case.
