Ruger‘s SR1911 Target is a 1911-style semiauto pistol built on a stainless steel frame with a stainless steel slide, and chambered in .45 ACP or 10mm. Other features include:
- A classic, Series 70 design;
- a stainless steel barrel and bushing made from the same bar stock on the same machine;
- an aluminum skeletonized trigger with an adjustable over-travel stop;
- Bomar-style adjustable sights dovetailed into the slide;
- a skeletonized hammer;
- an oversized beavertail grip safety;
- an extended, ambidextrous thumb safety;
- an extended slide stop lever;
- an integral plunger tube;
- an oversized ejection port;
- an extended magazine release;
- a standard recoil guide system;
- a flat, checkered mainspring housing;
- a visual loaded-chamber inspection port;
- angled rear slide serrations for positive grip;
- a swaged link pin;
- a titanium firing pin;
- a low-glare stainless finish;
- black controls;
- black G10 checkered grips;
- one eight-round stainless steel magazine and one seven-round stainless steel magazine;
- a bushing wrench; and
- a cable locking device.
