Summary: The description, specs, photos and pricing for the SIG Sauer 1911 Carry Scorpion pistol.
Manufacturer’s Description
SIG Sauer’s 1911 Carry Scorpion is chambered in .45 ACP and built on a full-size stainless steel frame with a shortened stainless steel slide. The Carry’s slide and barrel measure 1″ shorter than SIG’s full-size Scorpion.
The Carry Scorpion sports a desert tan Cerakote finish and Hogue’s Magwell Grip Set, which combines grip plates and the main spring housing in an integrated magazine well extension that promotes rapid magazine changes. Manufactured from G10, the Magwell Grips provide strength and light weight, and they feature Hogue’s Piranha texture for retention and a multi-layer green and black pattern.
Other features include a 5 lb. SAO trigger, an eight-round magazine and low-profile SIGLITE night sights.

I purchased this gun to replace my S&W Model 39 9mm that I’ve owned for 20yrs. I am a woman and a new range gun. Right out of the box I was pleased, less kick then our model 96 Beretta .40 cal. This pistol has had no miss fires 2500 rounds and I usually shoot 150-300 per session. The trigger pull is so short and smooth I replaced my S&W MP Shield carry with the Sig Ultra 3.3 inch barrel for my carry gun. Thanks Sig I’m Happy!
