Manufacturer’s Description

The 1911 STX from the SIG SAUER Custom Shop is a two-tone 1911 that’s loaded with features. This non-railed pistol features a Nitron slide over a Natural Stainless frame and is accented by beautiful custom wood grips. Bought this Gun from my local gun shop, I was looking for a reliable 1911 pistol since every Kimber I have owned was not reliable and worth not carrying. I decided on a Sig Sauer 1911 STX.

I took it to the range and fed it every type of ammo that I had from HP, FMJ, from Hornandy, Remgington, Cor-Bon, Black Hills 230gr +P ammo and the pistol worked perfectly and took the ammo and ate it like it was candy. I shot a total of 250 rounds through my pistol so far.

I did not have any malfunctions at all not one FTF, not one stove pipe, no brass hitting my head anymore like all my Kimbers use to do.

The grips are a nice touch and matches the pistol perfectly. The finish on the slide and frame are nice! This pistol is worth every penny i’m so glad I sold my kimbers and bought this pistol.

I have owned the STX for 2 years and have 3000-4000 rounds through it without a failure of any kind. I have owned many non custom 1911’s over the past 40 years and feel that this is the best one to date. The fit and finish as well as the clean machining is exceptional as is accuracy with factory and hand loaded ammunition.
