Manufacturer’s Description

SIG Sauer‘s P226 Elite is a semiauto pistol built on an alloy frame and chambered in 9mm or .40 SW. SIG says the P226 Elite is improved over the base P226 thanks to enhanced ergonomics and new features including an enhanced trigger system with an astounding short reset. Other features include:

  • An ergonomic beavertail grip;
  • front cocking serrations;
  • front strap checkering; and
  • custom wood grips.

You can get this pistol with SIG’s Short Reset Trigger (SRT). SIG says its engineers designed the SRT to provide you the same great safety and smooth action of the SIG DA/SA trigger with a comfortable reset that’s 60% shorter for faster trigger return and surgical control during high speed shooting.

Or, you can get the P226 Elite SAO model, which features a single-action only trigger and black grips.
