Manufacturer’s Description
Smith & Wesson‘s (S&W) series of rimfire pistols are designed for competitive target shooting or recreational shooting. The rimfire line is available with 4″, 5.5″ or 7″ barrels. The 22A pistols are built on an aluminum alloy frame with a stainless steel slide, and a black, two-tone, or RealTree APG HD finish.
They come with a partridge front sight (a light-gathering HI-VIZ Green Dot front sight is optional) and an adjustable rear sight . Grip options include soft touch target and wood target grips. An integral Weaver-style optics mount is available on some versions.
Note: S&W now offers a Massachusetts-compliant version of the 22A Target model, the 22A Target Compliant.
