Smith & Wesson‘s (S&W) Model 627 is an eight-round revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and .38 Special +P, and built on a stainless steel frame with a stainless steel cylinder. The standard Model 627 is single/double-action pistol comes with a 2.625″ barrel or a 5″ barrel.
The 2.625″ barrel version is built by S&W’s Performance Center, and it sports a matte finish, a wood grip, a dovetail red ramp front sight, and an adjustable white-outline rear sight. Additional features for this pistol include PC action with ball detent lock-up, an eight-shot cylinder cut for full moonclips, a chrome-flashed custom teardrop hammer, and a chrome-flashed trigger with a stop.
The 5″ barrel version is also built by S&W’s Performance Center, and it sports a matte silver finish, a wood grip, a gold bead front sight, and an adjustable rear sight. Additional features on this pistol include a .312 chrome trigger with an overtravel stop, and a chrome teardrop hammer with a pinned sear.
S&W also offers a Pro Series version. Features include:
