The Smith & Wesson M&P9 pistols are built on a black polymer frame with a stainless slide and barrel with a black melonite finish.
They come with a steel white-dot dovetail front sight and a steel low-profile carry rear sight. Tritium sights, a Crimson Trace Lasergrip, and a green, built-in Crimson Trace Laserguard lasersight are optional.
Features include a striker fire action, and three interchangable palmswell grip sizes.
You can get this pistol with or without a thumb safety or magazine safety, and there’s a Massachusetts-compliant version.
The Champion Series – Julie Golob version is named the M&P9 JG. This pistol features:
- a Warren Tactical rear sight;
- a fiber optic front sight;
- two pink grip inserts (small & medium) and three black standard grip inserts; and
- an awareness ribbon engraved on the slide.
This pistol was designed in collaboration with Julie Goloski-Golob. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a breast cancer awareness charity.
In addition, Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center offers a ported M&P9, and a ported M&P9 with a threaded barrel and tall sights.
