Manufacturer’s Description

The Smith & Wesson SW1911 single-action pistols are built on a steel frame with a steel slide. You can get one with various finishes, including black melonite, stainless, matte and two-tone. Wood and synthetic grips are available, as is a Crimson Trace Lasergrip.

Standard SW1911 features include:

  • a beavertail grip safety;
  • a low-profile carry sight or adjustable target sight;
  • an extended thumb safety;
  • an external extractor;
  • an aluminum target trigger;
  • a visual loaded chamber indicator; and
  • a dovetail front sight.

The Tactical Rail Series version includes a universal picatinny rail, matte finish, and wood grips.

The Performance Center versions include a competition match trigger with overtravel stop, a competition speed hammer configuration, an ambidextrous grip and frame mounted external safety, and front-strap checkering.

The Pro Series 9mm version features:

  • a crisp 4–5.5 lb. smooth trigger pull;
  • a 30 LPI checkered front strap;
    a hand polished integral feed ramp;
  • a precision crowned muzzle;
  • an oversized external extractor;
  • a full-length guide rod;
  • a double-sided frame safety;
  • an extended mag well; and

The Engraved version features:

  • Machine scroll engraving;
  • a stainless steel frame, barrel and slide;
  • a two-white-dot rear sight;
  • a white-dot front sight;
  • wooden, laminate, E-series grips;
