Manufacturer’s Description

The Springfield Armory Micro Compact pistols are 1911-A1 style semiautos chambered in .45 ACP. They are available in Springfield’s Loaded models or GI 45 model.

The Loaded models feature:

  • a forged lightweight alloy frame with a black hardcoat anodized finish with or without an integral accesory rail;
  • a stainless steel slide with a satin finish;
  • a 3″ stainless steel match grade bull barrel;
  • a fully supported ramp;
  • a dual spring and full-length guide rod recoil system;
  • low-profile three-dot tritium sights;
  • a beveled mag well;
  • a beavertail grip safety;
  • an extended ambidextrous thumb safety;
  • a long aluminum match grade trigger;
  • thinline cocobolo grips; and
  • two six-round magazines.

The GI 45 model features:

  • a forged steel parkerized frame;
  • a forged steel parkerized slide;
  • a 3″ parkerized steel bull barrel;
  • a fully supported ramp;
  • a dual spring and full-length guide rod recoil system;
  • low-profile military sights;
  • a beavertail grip safety;
  • a short GI-style trigger;
  • U.S. engraved hardwood grips; and
  • one six-round magazine.
