The Stoeger Cougar 8000F is a double-action/single-action semiauto pistol built by Stoeger in Turkey. (Stoeger is a subsidiary of Beretta.) It’s built on an aluminum frame and chambered in 9mm or .40 SW. The Cougar 8000F is a recoil-operated, locked-breech pistol with a rotating barrel locking system.
Other features include:
- An ambidextrous safety and de-cocking lever;
- white three-dot sights;
- a matte-black finish
- checkered matte-black polymer grip panels;
- rounded edges;
- a grooved-front, two-hand trigger guard; and
- two high-capacity magazine.
